Obituary of Iris Maud Gudgeon

Passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital with family by her side, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in her 94^th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Frederick Gudgeon, with who she had worked alongside in their family business of Gudgeon Cabinets Ltd. Loved mother of Terry and his wife Margaret and Kevin and his wife Diane. Cherished grandmother of Kyle (Chelsie), Derek (Pam), Krysten Miedus (Matt), Corey (Justine), Lauren Bell (Taylor) and great grandchildren Ryder, Brodie and Eddie. Iris was predeceased by her siblings Rita and Frank Arrowsmith, Cliff and Norma Bevan, June and Jack Reidy, Barb and Jack Lambert. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Iris will be missed by special friends Mosina, John and Dorothy. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, October 23^rd from 2-5 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following. A private interment will take place on Monday, October 24^th at Eastlawn Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
