Obituary of George Patrick Power

April 6, 1977 – October 2, 2022 

On October 2, 2022  George went home to be with the Lord.  Beloved son of George, Sr. and Rose.  Deeply missed by aunts and uncles Wayne, Vern, Marilynn, Kevin (Darlene), Glenn (Lori), Steve (Karen), Brian, Judy and Jim Ferris, Maggie and Len Winter along with cousins Kyle, Brendan, Mitchell, Andrea and Justine. Forever missed by foster sister Kathleen Crooker and her daughter Clare. He will be missed by his lifelong friends Heather and Glenn, Jim and Lynn, Wayne and Janette, Vickie Martini, Bernadette and Gerry. Georgie loved the outdoors and was happiest around a campfire, fishing, gardening, helping seniors or cheering on the Ticats and the Leafs.  Saturday morning garage sales with his mom was the highlight of his week.  

Cremation has taken place.  The family will hold a Remembrance service in the East Room of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 622, 12 King Street E, Stoney Creek on Saturday, October 15 at 1:00 pm with reception to follow.
