I am saddened to hear of Roger's passing. I worked for Roger for several years from public school through to the end of high school, progressing from picking strawberries and hoeing weeds, to driving farm equipment and working on the fruit stand. The work ethic I learned on the farm helped me to achieve my education and career goals, and some of the friendships I made while working on the farm have endure to this day.
One of my favourite "Roger" memories is of him frequently taking the group of us to the local DQ at the end of a long day for blizzards.
