Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Cutts

Betty passed away peacefully at the Heritage Green Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents John and Isabella Grodde and her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert “Bob” (2008). Loving mother to Calvin (Ruth), Bob, Stephen (Alison), and Chris (Rose). Cherished grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers John, David, Pete and sisters, Pat Bradly and Ruth Lock as well as daughter-in-law Barb Cutts.  Remembered by sister-in-law Marie Grodde, Rita Cutts, Betty Ann Cutts, Stan and Betty Wannamaker, June and Don Cutts along with many nieces and nephews. Betty was the last remaining member of her family. She was a member of Stoney Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Stoney Creek Redcoats Camping Club. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 11 a.m., with Visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Mountview Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetic Association or Stoney Creek Baptist Church would be appreciated.
