What a shining, soulful, and charming light. Grateful for all the joy and soul Jason brought to our music-making. I will cherish the full-throated, full-spirited way he sang "You Are My Sunshine" and "Folsom Prison Blues" (among many others). And thank you Jason for introducing me to the magic of Patsy Cline! A number of years ago, Jason started coming to St. John's Church, and soon joined the choir. The choir members remember his spirit and goodness. Our sympathies to his parents, family and friends who were touched by his life.

Jason "The Big Man" Clay... such sad news about a wonderful soul who everybody loved. I left Hamilton many years ago and still speak of Jason and his impact on everyone's lives often. My deepest sympathies to his family and close friends; I am heartbroken right alongside you all.

As Chaplain at Lawson ministries, I want to send my sincere condolences to the Clay family. While I did meet Jason in group settlings I did not get much one on one time with him, I am hearing so many stories from our staff and feel I missed out getting to know the amazing person that he was. Unfortunately God has called his name and we are left to mourn and miss him here on earth. Keeping the family, friends and his Lawson family in my prayers in these days. My Grandmother taught Jason back at Redhill preschool. She cared very deeply for him & he had a soft spot in his heart for her. I was lucky enough to go to grade school with Jason and a great group of friends at St. John’s. Jason & I fell out of touch after that but met up again while he was working at Boston Pizza. We were both elated to rekindle an old friendship & I wasn’t surprised to see how staff & patrons were all huge fans of him. He was like a celebrity up there Hanging out with Jay was always fun. He came to quite a few hockey games down at the double rinks and even sat on our bench for a game. His generosity, thoughtfulness and kind caring heart will be missed dearly Chris Catalano
