Basil was a gentle soul, always looking out for his neighbors. You could hear him before you saw him, hi Donna, hi Keith. He looked out for our children too, especially Cal. We will miss Basil's love and his smile, even when he was in pain. This court will never be the same. Our deepest condolences to the entire Henson family. Basil was a sweetheart! As our neighbour for 21 years, his friendliness and smiling face will be greatly missed by all of our family. His genuine interest in others made him very special to us and he will be dearly missed. xo

Our sincerest condolences Viviene, Rosemarie, Andrew, Charlene, spouses and grandchildren. Basil was such a wonderful, kind, giving man. When we would cross paths on occasional walks in the neighborhood, he would always have a smile and a kind word, even though we knew how much pain he was enduring and had been for many years. God bless him and all of you. You are in our thoughts

I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. May your memories of Basil give you comfort. I met Basil only a few times when Tim, Luke and Andrew got together during their school years at Janet Lee and Saltfleet. He was always a kind gentleman……Dianne Hancock.
