Hey Paul, I just wanted to say thank you for everything, from the references to the Montreal Deli Sandwiches on Saturdays. I was only a kid when I started at Alpha Cash and I got to learn how to look after people and customers from the best! Both yourself and your dad had such a positive affect on the person I’ve became. I remember the saying “you have two things to keep intact, your word and your credit and if you keep both, your life will be easy.” Condolences to your wonderful family, rest easy my friend!

I'm so sorry to hear the passing of Paul. I first met Paul in grade 8, just before we started high school together, and lived on the same street, Belgrave Ct. We played hockey and golf together for many years and for a short period of time I worked at his father's shop when I was living in Toronto.
A number of years ago, one of Paul's children was in my sister's class, Paul had gone for a parent/teacher interview and somehow had connected the dots. We spoke shortly afterwards, but we were never able to get together.
My condolences to his family during this difficult time.

I don't even know where to start.
After working along side Paul for the last 8 years, he not only was the most supportive mentor to me but became someone I considered a dear friend. Over the years I got to know his beautiful wife Trina and their amazing children Rya & Burk who warmly welcomed me everytime I came to their home to work with Paul.
Paul was so many things; kind, funny, considerate, supportive, humble, generous and knowledgeable to say a few.
He would often stray from work topics to proudly talk about his children's accomplishments. His family was his life.
He treated my family with the greatest respect, always thinking of my children whenever he came by and bringing Timbits or a small token to show he cared and was thinking of them.
His loss will leave a forever void in my life.
I miss our multiple daily chats.
I miss his Seinfeld references and how he'd insist on changing my music playlist for his.
I miss bugging him everyday for something work related.
Paul taught me so many things over the years, both professionally and personally and I'm forever grateful for the time I had with him. I am a better person for knowing him.
Keeping Trina, Rya, Burk, his family, friends and clients in my thoughts, prayers and heart.

I have many fond memories of Paul and I as rookie Financial Advisors together. He had a generous soul and was always eager to help a client and colleague alike. We worked together for 13 years and shared many laughs. Paul had a wonderfully kind sense of humour, that was never at the expense of anyone. He took great pride in being both good to and good for the people that he cared about. His pride and joy was his family. I´m proud to have called him a friend - Paul will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with Trina, Rya and Burk at this difficult time.

Remembering Paul.
Thank you for the kindness in your thoughtful interactions with Max. Who else would get him featured in his favourite publication, take the time to text him and talk to him so much so that you are frequently quoted around our house!
Thank you for the unexpected Belwood butter tarts dropped off to us the last time I saw you, for the professional guidance and patience you had in explaining things to me over the years and for the kindness always extended to my family. Thank you for the Paloozas, for inviting Mo and Al to watch golf, helping with my nana, and for coming to our place for that last Belwood thanksgiving (even if you had to take an allergy pill!).
Thank you for being such a solid part of our lives, especially Steve's. It won't be the same without you.

I remember when we first met. Paul, Trina and little Rya in her stroller! He "Howdy neighbour"ed me, and I remember thinking there's a magnanimous fellow! Paul became my "Back pocket" neighbour! The one who I always knew I could could count on for anything and nothing. That you hold in your "back pocket" knowing full well he's right there should you need him. He cared. He knew all of us by name. He joked incessantly with us, and was the epitomy of a good and wonderful human. I have such sorrow for Trina, Rya and Burk. We are all better for having known this kind man. Words are fleeting. My pockets are very empty today. Rest well my friend.

Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are to hear about Paul's unexpected passing. Our heart goes out to you all during this difficult time.
When I think about the past, one of my fondest memories was during family functions, once the meal was done, Paul would put on his Chicago Black Hawk jersey, pull out the net and we would play hockey for hours. He was a huge Black Hawk fan and loved his hockey!
The last time he visited us, he was so happy and excited to meet our latest addition to the family. He was always kind and helpful to everyone he knew. We will miss him very dearly. Love from Greg, Maha, Lauren, Vanessa, Thalia and Tessa

Just last weekend I drove through Belwood and Fergus and shared the story of the time that Paul injured himself tubing and my daughter and I drove him to the hospital. Despite the pain that Paul was in all he cared about was the well-being of my daughter and I. He apologized at least 100 times and on more than one occasion insisted we just leave. While I am thankful for many memories, this memory is the epitome of who Paul was. Loving, caring, selfless and always putting others above himself. My sincere condolences to Paul’s family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rest easy Paul. You will be missed dearly
