Well Larry was Larry. Had his Toys that shined ! There wasn’t a toy, truck, front end loader that wasn’t dirty, and if it had a spot of oil on it YOU washed it again Larry’s Way ! Always on the go, had to walk his pace while talking or you were left behind. Fun to talk to, GR8 neighbour back in the day in Stoney Creek. Always had time to talk and show what he was working on or what Toy he was heading to Florida in ! Marcus J. Maradin

Laurence (Lucky Bear) was a fixture as the snow contractor for Canada Post on 393 Millen Road, he serviced the site since day 1 and often referred to the site as his "baby". I had the pleasure of working with Laurence for the last 15 years, right up until this past winter. I could rely on Lucky Bear Services to take care of whatever problem I had. One of a kind person. Hoping Lorraine and family find comfort in the good memories shared with Laurence over the years,during this time of loss.A true family man,and well regarded in the trucking industry as one of the best service providers of his day.Thank you for the shop conversations,especially the rides in the golf cart!Thank you for the parking spot for my car hauler,when it became available.Laurence was super honest and very professional,a great reputation that still precedes him to this day.God bless the Marshall family.

Our thoughts and prayers to Larry’s family and all his friends. We have known Larry for over 30 years, he was one of the true man of men. His loyalty, compassion, smarts and overall "never say quit attitude" made him the man that we admired for all these years. In our retirement we found comfort and enjoyment in our dialogues and email exchanges. And though our relationship started professionally, it was a pleasure to call Larry Marshall a friend. Laurence & Lorraine were my neighbours on Horseshoe Lake for a number of years. I will forever remember him as a true character, the best neighbour one could ask for. His love of life was infectious and his love for my “Larryette” (aka Hollie) will be among my fondest memories. Sending our deepest condolences to Lorraine & family on your loss.
