Obituary of Gord Berry

Passed away, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the age of 71. Dearly beloved life partner of Brenda Valliere for 23 years. Cherished father of Barbara Butler (Rick), Brenda Berry (Michael Bieman), Bonnie Berry, Terrilyn Berry (Stew MacLeod), and Jonny Berry (Kimiko Kaiura). Devoted grandfather of James, Benjamin, Ryder, Kai and Nash. Will be missed by his brother, sister, nieces and nephews. He will also be deeply missed by his 12 Step Fellowship family, and was proudly in his 27^th year of recovery. Gord was kind, loving, and a positive support. His sense of humour will be missed by everyone who knew him. Special thank you to all of the PSW’s, and the staff and volunteers at Margaret’s Place Hospice. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, May 12th from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 13th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek.
