Obituary of Bozidar Kovacevic
May 12, 1978 – April 30, 2022
It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Bobby on the morning of Saturday, April 30, 2022. Bobby was 43 years old, and he was adored by his entire family. He will be forever missed by his loving fiancée Mariana, parents Vidosava and Pero, sister Bonnie and brother-in-law Petar (children Vuk, Mila, Spiro), brothers Branko (Sophie) and Sasha (Gabby and children Tatiana, Maia), cousins Novica (Angie and children Rade, Daniela, Jovo), Zoran (Danica and children Branko, Luka), uncles Mico, Jovo (Vida and children Nina, Maja), Aunt Milka (children Viktor, Sonja, Gogo), Aunt Rajka (children Verica, Zorica, Goran, Vladan), Mariana’s mother Maria and sister Nicoleta, kumovi and prijatelji, and many more loving family members. Predeceased by his father Nikola Kovacevic, uncles Branko, Bosko, Mitar, Rade, Dusan, Djordjije, Gavrilo, Bozidar and Vojin, aunts Njegosava, Stana and Vukosava, cousins Miki, Sava, Nena and Miso, and nephew Mitar. Bozidar’s huge heart will be sadly missed by so many people and he has left a void that can never be filled. Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Sunday, May 8, 2022, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Pomen at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 1415 Barton Street East, Hamilton, Monday, May 9, 2022, at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the church.
