Obituary of Maria "Mary" Stanislawa Ferrelli

Passed away peacefully, after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer, on Thursday, April 28, 2022, with family by her side, at Juravinski Hospital, in her 74^th year. Beloved wife of Peter “Pietro” for 53 years. Loving mother of Joey Ferrelli and Jacqueline Haynes and her husband Aaron. Cherished grandmother of Stephen and Michael. Dear sister of Helen Wojcinski, the late Charles Wojcinski, Julianna Scanlon (David), and sister-in-law of the late Evelina Grilli (late Luigi), Bianca D’Alessandro (the late Vito), the late Gian Battista Ferrelli (late Concetta). Mary is predeceased by her parents Stefan and Rose Wojcinski, her stepmother Gertrude, her parents-in-law Giuseppe and Crescenza Ferrelli, Will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Dr. Richard Tytus and Dr. Hotz as well as the nurses and staff at Juravinski Hospital for their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday from 5-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
