Obituary of Savo Manojlovic

Peacefully, at St. Peter’s Hospital, on Monday, April 25, 2022 in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Nada. Cherished Uncle of Zarko and Simica Manojlovic, Djuka and Slobodan Zdravkovic, Savo and Nada Manojlovic, Slavko and Mary Manojlovic, Mira and Mirko. Will also be missed by great-nephews Alex, Mirko, Stevan, Nikola, Jovan, Ninoslav, Miroslav, Luka and great-niece Katie. Loving brother of the late Petar (2015) and Olga, the late Spiro and Ika, the late Stevan (1986) and Dusanka. Savo will be greatly missed by many kumovi and friends in Canada, USA and Serbia. Savo was born and raised in Markovac Dalmacija and was a Serbian Chetnik Veteran of WWII, Dinarska Divizija under command of Vojvoda Momcilo Djuic. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 6-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton, on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Radovan Kodic officiating. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
