Very sad news indeed. Shawn was known around Dreamland Resort, Rice Lake as an avid fisherman, spending long hours in his red canoe searching for pickerel & bass. He was willing and generous to share his fishing technique, the kind of lures, worms or minnows, and his favourite locations to snag those fish.
Shawn was a friendly guy always ready to stop along the way for a chat / exchange fishing info. Later on he acquired a bigger / better boat with an outboard engine which took him further afield over the lake in search of his favourites. He will be missed around the Park. Our thoughts & prayers are with his parents and extended family. RIP, Shawn.
