Obituary of Marie Helen Halcrow

HALCROW, Marie Helen (Hendricks) Feb. 3 1929 - Sept. 24 2012 Peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital. Predeceased by husband, Charlie, sons Kenneth and Gordon, parents Martin and Barbara Hendricks, and sister Jean Hendricks. Survived by her doting daughters and their husbands, Sheila and Larry Cherriere, Lynda and Greg Iovacchini, Brenda and Cecil Norman. Lovingly remembered by 3 grandchildren Amanda Cherriere, Cecil Norman and Ivy Norman. A loving great-grandma to Tanisha Cherriere, Gemma Cherriere, and Regis Norman. Fondly rembered by siblings Martin Henricks, Ed and Denise Hendricks, Betty and Gerald Smith. Jean Halcrow, Hetty Halcrow and Blair Gouchie. Her many cousins, neices, nephews and friends will miss her. Her special antics kept many laughing. Big adventures in skating, sking, ballooning and gardening kept her young. In lieu of flowers an act of kindness to another would be appreciated. We will all miss her. Visitation at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. Celebration of Marie's life at Fifty United Church, Winona on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11 a.m.
