"Papa Joe" was a great man, full of stories of an adventurous life. He was a very popular and witty fellow, and probably the best host I've known. When I visited, he would always make sure that I couldn't possibly eat any more. He and Rose conferred this social grace to both their children, who are also world class people. Good job, Papa Joe! Thanks for everything!
