Obituary of Fred Ollason Halcrow

HALCROW, Fred Ollason 1925-2011) Passed away peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Greta Halcrow (nee Learmonth). Survived by her stepchildren Kenneth James Schultz (Karen Dodds) of North Bay, ON and Linda Cazabon (Claude) of Lacombe, AB. Cherished brother of Peter Halcrow (Jean). Dearly loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Survived by grandchildren Kimberley, Kevin (Jill), Charles (Shannon), Kristen, Kimberley and Shannon Boyd. He will be fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren Jessica, Robyn, Nathan, Kyle, Jemma, Amber, Caeleigh, Brayden, Riley and Ethon. Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth, brothers John, Charles and Harry, sisters Georgina, Barbara and Eleanor. Family receiving friends at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, ON, on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. Interment on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Eastlawn Cemetery, Hamilton at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully appreciated by his family.
