Obituary of Beatrice May Laidman

(nee Havens)

Peacefully at The Jacob Retirement Home, Beamsville, on Tuesday, February 22nd, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Laidman (2020). Loving mother to the late Don Laidman (2021), the late Bernie Laidman (2012), Kathy, Randy A.K.A. Luke Laidman (Darlene) and Debbie Ellis. Loving grandmother Jeff Laidman (Darlene), Scott Laidman, Brigette Ellis (Jamie), Bree Ellis and great grandmother to Aiden and Blake, who were the apples of her eye. Predeceased by her siblings; Cyril, Roy, Harold, Robert, Gerald, Mary and Illah. Survived by her sister-in-law Blanche Laidman and  brother-in-law Elmer Cantelo. Will be missed by many nephews and nieces, especially Rosemary. A special thanks to all of the staff at The Jacob for the great care that they have given to mom in her last year, and a very special thank you to the Palliative Care Team for their care and compassion during this time. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 700 Chapel Hill Rd., Stoney Creek, on Saturday, March 5th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
