Obituary of “Bubbles” Florence Emmeline Smith

Florence Emmeline Smith (nee Farraway) 

Cradled in my arms, Mom passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. “Bubbles” was a vibrant soul with a sparkling personality, and she touched the lives of many. Loved and will be dearly missed by her children and their spouses Darlene and Rick Wissenz, Debra and Allan Zagar, Dianne and Richard DeGrow, Fred and Bonnie Smith. Predeceased by her husband Fred M. Smith and survived by her sisters Gloria Middleton, Pearl Ingham and brother Ed Farraway. Mom was Grandma to 15, Grandma-Great to 31, and Grandma-Great-Great to 1. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Please visit the Funeral Home website to register your attendance for the visitation. Due to limited space availability, visitors will be accepted by scheduled appointment only and are reminded that the wearing of a mask while indoors is mandatory. A private family celebration of life will be held with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly would be greatly appreciated.
