Obituary of Elizabeth (Betty) Moffett

Elizabeth (Betty) Moffett passed away February 9th, 2022 after an 8-year battle with her health, she was 78 years young.  Elizabeth or Betty, as she was known to loved ones and friends.  Betty's health had been failing for years but, to suggest that Betty lost her fight to her sickness would be wrong; Betty never stopped fighting no matter how serious the extent of her health issues. Her determination, resilience and perseverance have always been admired to those who have had the honour to know her.  Betty will be missed sorely by her husband, Larry, of 59 years, another testament to the strength and patience Betty held, their love for one another embodied many, many years of adventures and laughs.  Betty has left behind, children Kathy (Kirby), Wayne, Kevin (Denise), Stacey (Ted). Her grandchildren Matthew (Lisa), Carly (Malcolm), Kyle (Aleks), Joshua, and Sydney. Her great-grandchildren Bianca and Vienna. Brother Bernie (Dianne) and late parents Bernard and Amalia. Betty will also be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  All who loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace and most importantly strength.
