Obituary of Ronald "Ron" James Maxwell
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald (Ron) Maxwell at the age of 70 on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Ron was known as an honest and hardworking family man. He loved his children and grandchildren, who brought him much pride and joy. Happiness in life was found spending time with family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Ross and Evelyn (Whiteman), his brothers Keith and Irving, his sister Donna, and brother-in-law Milton. He leaves behind his loving wife (Mary) of 48 years, his children Christopher (Adriana), Heather (John) and Mark (Cheryl). Cherished grandad to Mark Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Grace, Sophia, Hailey, and Hayden. He will be forever missed and fondly remembered by his sisters Joyce (Bernie), Judy, Joanne (John), Elizabeth (Bill) and brother Howard (Mary). He will be greatly missed by Mom (Betty Devenish), many extended family, close friends, and all those who were fortunate to know him. A strong work ethic made him a valued employee of Jervis B. A special thanks to all the staff of Juravinski Cancer Centre (JCC) for the compassion and kindness he was given during his long battle with lung cancer.
