My deepest sympathy to Scott, Heather, Diane, her sisters, and all of the family. Auntie Dodie was a wonderful Aunt and person. She was intelligent, fun loving, creative, a animal and nature lover, interesting, and above all kind and caring. She meant a lot to many people from the East Coast to the West Coast. She always took time out for you and was truly interested in your life and well being. She gave me some great advice over the years. She was an incredible role model for all of us! God Bless.

When I think of Dodi, I think of a kind caring woman who was always smiling. Most of us ask, how are you?, but it's just something that we say. When Dodi asked how you were, she really wanted to know, because she truly cared.
As a teen, I spent many Saturday afternoons at their kitchen table, drinking cup after cup of tea with Penny and Dodi and sharing a laugh.
My heart felt condolences to Scott, Heather, Helen, Izzy, Carla and their families. I know that there are no words that will lessen your pain, but I hope it brings you comfort to know that Dodi is with Penny now.

It is impossible to put into words how special Dodi has been to me for as long as I can remember. It is still very difficult to process her passing , but I feel so unbelievably blessed and lucky to have such fun and special memories of our adventures when I was growing up. Saturday morning tea with her and Nan …Saturday afternoons having lunch at the mall … going to the movies … and all the fun conversations. It also makes my heart so happy and I am beyond grateful that she was able to meet my girls a few years ago. My world will not be the same without you Dodi… even tho you are now in heaven with all the angels, you still have one here on earth that loves you so much ❤️

Doe loved to visit us in California every year to celebrate her birthday with Scott and I. She loved the beach and our warm sunny weather. She also loved dining out and always had room for desert even though she was so tiny! She always wanted to go to Duke's in Malibu for a meal where the waves splash against the glass and you can see Dolphins in the ocean and Pelicans sailing past. She was always ready for an adventure and we visited many places here; Venice Beach, The Rock Store in Malibu, Universal Studios, Huntington Gardens, Hollywood, Venice Beach, to name a few. She will be greatly missed
Sending love and a huge thank you Dianne you helped us stay connected through video chats and always made sure Doe was safe and sound, you have no idea how much this means to us.

I would like to send my heartfelt thanks and endless love to my dear cousin Dianne Glabais for the comfort and care she provided to my lovely little mom.
I have been too far away for so long but took comfort in the thought that my mom was so close to her sisters and their families.
Here is a photo of my wee mom visiting us in happier times.
Nothing like desert with family to put a radiant smile on her face.
