I remember Aunt Miriam for her kindness, her sweet smile and most importantly, her steadfastness in her Christian faith. Aunt Miriam was a hard worker for her family and for her Church. She attended family gatherings, ready with her own tea towels to share in the work that had to be done. She is the last person of her generation in our family to pass. It is not surprising to me that Aunt Miriam, the tiniest person in our family was also among the strongest. May her strength and fortitude be passed down to her immediate family and may the rest of us follow her example.

I know you are feeling sadness and grief right now but the heavens are rejoicing. Miriam was a wonderful wife, mom and grandmother. Her walk with god will leave a forever impact on all your life’s. She is now free to watch over you and the next time you see a cardinal know she is close. My heart goes out to you all for I know your grief first hand. Love to each and everyone of you.

Miriam was a true friend. She was a very strong woman with faith in her Savior Jesus Christ. She persevered in prayer, especially for those closest to her heart; her dear son's and their families. If I could describe her in one word it would be steadfast. I loved her so much and miss her dearly. I could share my heart with her and she would listen, then stretch her arm out , place her hand upon my head and bless me. She was a great example of standing on her faith, immovable. I look forward to seeing her again in heaven. She has received her great reward and lives forevermore. I love you Miriam, my dear friend. Rosa Houser
