Obituary of Danilo (Dane) Vladetic

March 8, 1937 - January 13, 2022

Danilo (Dane) passed away peacefully in his home in Stoney Creek in his 85th year, the morning of January 13th, 2022. Beloved husband of Dragica (Carla) of 58 years. Devoted father of Larry (Sonya), Alen, and Daniel (Darlene). Loving grandfather of Kendal, Hudson, Bailey, Mila, and Matthew. Born in Titel, Serbia, he immigrated to Canada in 1965. Along with being a steelworker for 32 years, Danilo was an avid musician, playing guitar, singing, and leading his band 'Morava' for 12 years. He imparted the gift of music to his three sons, who all became successful performers and have continued to make music part of their lifelong careers. Danilo will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends in Canada, the U.S., and abroad. Friends will be received at the Donald V.
