My sympathies to Shirley’s family on the news of her passing. I met Shirley when we both were members of the board of directors for Mission Services. She was a strong advocate for those without a voice and in need of compassion. She was one of the kindest people I know and I always enjoyed our conversations. Heather James

Shirley and I would hang out together when we were young women attending church in Stoney Creek. She always had a great smile and through the years, she had wonderful words of encouragement for me. Her pilgrimage on this earth is now done and she can enjoy rest in heaven. Sylvia Ard
