Obituary of Douglas Edward Guthrie

GUTHRIE, Douglas Edward Peacefully at the Trillium Health Care Centre, Mississauga on Thursday, October 14, 2010, in his 56th year. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Singer). Loved father of Melissa (Randy Bell), Tammy (Josh Wilde), and Stephanie (Nick Kitchen). Loving grandpa to Parker, Megian, James, Ethan, and one soon to arrive grandchild. Dear son of Alice and the late Douglas Guthrie. Dear brother of Robert (Rita), Alice Osborne and Lloyd. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Doug was a 20 year owner/operator with Fluke Transportation Group. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive Stoney Creek on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (due to road construction please follow Second St. North from King Street to right on Charles St.) Funeral Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, October 17th at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
