Obituary of Jovan Hajdin

Peacefully, passed away at Juravinski Hospital on November 27th 2021 at the age of 89.  Beloved husband of Zorka.  Cherished father of Milica (Petar), Visnja (Nikola), and Danica (Djuro).  Loving Deda of Dragana, Dragan (Nora), Jovan (Nada), Branko (Maja), Dusan (Juliana) and the late Zoran.  He will also be missed by his great-grandchildren Sara, Una, Petar, Marko, Luka, Tamara and Mihailo.  Jovan is survived by his sister Milica “Emily” and her children Michael (Biljana) and Ricky (Julia). Also remembered by his dear friend Sladjana, Kumovi, family and friends in Croatia and Serbia.  Special thank you to the caring staff at Clarion Nursing Home and Juravinski Hospital for their wonderful care.  Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Pomen at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 1415 Barton Street E. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. with The Very Reverend Vojislav Pavlovic officiating.  Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
