Obituary of Frank Gula

GULA, Frank Peacefully, at his residence on Sunday, October 16, 2011, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of 63 years to Mary. Loving father of Chester (Bogda), Sophie Wojcik (Bob), Les (Tracey). Predeceased by his son Fryderyk. Loving Dziadziu of Dorothy Simm (Glen), Monica Collins (Paul), Stephen Wojcik (Kendra), Ela, Kimberley, Alina, Emily, Matthew and great-grandchildren Mia and Delia. Dear brother of Wladyslaw. Predeceased by brothers Bronislaw and Michael and his sister Genowefa Kosturek. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Poland. Frank was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Society and the Polish Alliance of Canada, Branch 2. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Rosary Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church, Barton St. E. at St. Ann’s St. Hamilton on Wednesday, October 19th at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
