Obituary of Richard Guidolin

GUIDOLIN, Richard With the dignity and quiet strength that marked his life on Friday, February 17, 2012. Surrounded by his family, Richard passed away after a courageous fight with cancer at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Judy for 37 years. Cherished father of Andrew (Krista), Patrick (Kim), and Katie (fiancé Danny). Proud grandfather of Braden, Tyler, Lauren and Nolan. Son of Ermenia and the late Virgilio Guidolin. Richard will be dearly missed by his brother Lino (Barbara) and sister Marie (Bill), extended family and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre especially to the nurses of C3 and CCAC nurses Debra, Mara and Dell. Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive in Stoney Creek on Monday February 20, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers offered at 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on Wednesday February 22, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
