Obituary of Colleen Mary George

Passed away peacefully, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, at Juravinski Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Bruce for 34 years. Devoted sister of Brian (Tammy), Kathleen, Gary, Peggy (Danny) and Maureen (Greg). Colleen is survived by her nieces and nephews Chris (Lyndsay), Shannon (Doug), Richelle (Andy), Leaha, Kimberley, Kayley (Ryan) and great-nieces and nephews Eryk, Mya, Isaiah, Derrick, Braydon, Ethan, Owen, Scarlett, Nya and Camila. She will be lovingly remembered by her many neighbours and friends, especially Lina, Grace and Marge. She will be missed by her friends and coworkers at Metro Centre Mall. Colleen was an avid TiCat fan. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
