I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. We had some great times in the 70's. Bill was a member of our group of four best friends (Bill, John, Rob and I). I'll always have great memories of all we did together. Weekends at my brother's cottage and later at my cottage. Dune Buggies, hockey games at Maple Leaf Gardens and just hanging out together at his mom's place. Rest in peace Bill. Ed Watts Kanata, Ontario

When I think of Bill all the natural talents he had. Wood working and building with love the toy boxes he made for his grandchildren to putting special touches of his pool room. Going down to Nova Scotia welcomed by his family and seeing the whales. He paid for 6 of us to see Paul McCartney which was the highlight of our wonderful evening Paul was Bills favourite fan. Everything Bill did was perfection. I’ll miss you Joan cooper

So sad for Sarah and Laura to have lost their Dad while he was still relatively young. Bill was a very good friend who will be deeply missed by many. He was always a lot of fun. He was taken from us far too soon, and with for too little warning.

Sending my sincere condolences to my cousins Sarah and Laura. I will miss my Uncle Billy and treasure so many fun memories of my childhood because of him! ❤️ From my mother telling me stories of him coming home from work when living at my Nanny’s house in Stoney Creek and his feet smelling so bad it brought tears to her eyes lol Also remember the dune buggy he had and taking me for a ride so long ago. And him and Aunt Lynn asking me to be their flower girl…. Cherished memories. Uncle Billy our paths did not cross much over the years but my memories of you were always in my heart. Love, Dawn-Marie

Teresa and I have seen Bill go through thick and thin in the past years. We know Bill as parent who was always proud of his daughters Sarah and Laura. He had a different type of humour. He enjoyed the Stoney Creek Santa Claus Parade each year (we think??? see the picture) He always looked forward to going out to eat with the guys. Condolences to the Family. God Bless.
