Obituary of Dr. Tracy Elizabeth Tiefenbach (PhD)
The world lost a beautiful, brilliant, talented, woman on October 13, 2021, when Dr. Tracy Elizabeth Tiefenbach (PhD), died suddenly at the age of 39, merely 24 days after the passing of her beloved, younger brother, Jamie. Tracy will forever be loved and never forgotten by her Mother and Stepfather, Marnie and Rob, her Father, Tony, her sister, Lisa, her surviving brothers, Paul, Mark and Lucas, her nieces, Elise and Charlotte, her nephews, Brandon and AJ, her dear friend, Justin, as well as her extended family, many friends, and past colleagues from McMaster University. Tracy spent many years studying to be a scientist, earning academic accolades and a PhD in biotechnology and genetic engineering. Despite her academic talents and achievements, Tracy left science to pursue her love of acting and creative writing. Tracy earned certificates from prestigious acting schools and acted in several major film projects. Tracy had just finished the final edits on her first fantasy-adventure novel and was excited to pursue publication. Tracy’s loved ones are dedicated to helping Tracy realize this final achievement and hope to see her novel published. Friends and family will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, October 23, 2021, for the viewing from 1-3 p.m., and the Service from 3-4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be Livestreamed on the Donald V. Parking is being offered for all guests at the Gospel Church across the street at 105 Nash Road South, Hamilton. Contributions to the spread are welcome but not necessary.
