Obituary of John Douglas Robertson

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in his 69th year with his family by his side. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his children Steven, Gregory (Jody), Michelle, Lindsey (Kyle), and their mother Theresa (Mike). Loving grandfather of Gabriel, Claire, Grayson, Maryn, and Griffin. He will also be remembered by his sister-in-law Rene and family. Predeceased by his parents Ruth and John, and his brother Brian.

We are forever grateful to his healthcare team who from every stage of his illness showed him profound love, respect and dignity.

He will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and the joy he found through his trade of plumbing. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 5-7 p.m.  A Private family service and interment will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the VON would be appreciated by the family.
