Obituary of Eva Nardini

(nee Ciardelli) 

December 2, 1935 – September 9, 2021 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Nonna, sister, Zia, cousin and friend. Gone to be with her beloved husband Giovanni (2000), the love of her life and best friend. Leaving behind her children Elena (late Dave) Skeates and Louie. Beloved Nonna of Laura and Ryan Skeates. Predeceased by her parents Angelo and Tomassina Ciardelli and by her two brothers Gaetano and Felice. Will be fondly missed by her sister Rita (Dino) Serafini and by her sister-in-law Maria Ciardelli. Eva was a retired employee of HWCDSB. She had a love for life, gardening and enjoyed entertaining and sharing words of wisdom. Special thanks to the staff at The Village of Wentworth Heights, especially the staff in Carrington, for taking such good care of her. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 1-9 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (West Bay Front).
