John P. Van der Zalm My condolences to the Groen family.Although many years ago, our friendship with your parents was a beacon , while we were all working hard to establish our families in Canada. To all of the Groen Family, Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you say good bye to your mom, Oma and our Tante Gini. We will never forget the hospitality and generous spirit she always showed whenever we showed up at their doorstep as the "family from Alberta". It was like coming "home" while being away.
