Obituary of Peter Grodde

GRODDE, Peter The family of Peter Grodde sadly announce his unexpected passing at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, June 2, 2013. After a brief, but brave fight, Peter left us to tell God a joke (which we are sure God has already heard). He is remembered with love by his wife of 37 ½ years, Marie, his daughters Kathleen McFadyen (Pat) and Jennifer Kole (Bill). Peter was a cherished Grampie and will be missed forever by Fiona and Evie. Predeceased by his parents John and Isabella, his brothers John and David and his sister Pat. Will also be sadly missed by sisters Betty Cutts and Ruth Locke. Special thanks, as Peter would have wanted, to the amazing staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, especially Tracey, Debbie and Hedy. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 11:30 until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
