Obituary of Winsome Minora Cain

Winsome Minora Cain passed away peacefully at Hamilton Juravinski Hospital on August 12, 2021. Born in Jamaica on December 5, 1958 to parents Murdile Cain and the late Vincent Cain. Winsome is survived by her loving family, mother Murdile Cain, and siblings Fitzgerold, Basil, Hermine, Calvin, Robert and Paul. She will be lovingly remembered  by her many nieces and nephews who knew her best as 'Auntie Maxine'. As a devoted child of God, Winsome's life was dedicated to being a loving and caring soul, committed to helping others. A special thank you to Sunnybrook Cancer Centre, Princess Margaret Hospital and Juravinski Hospital. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, August 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at Victory International Church, 2799 Barton St. E., Hamilton, Ontario on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will also be Livestreamed on the Donald V. Brown Facebook page at the time of the service. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required to be worn indoors at all times.
