Obituary of Herbert Thomas Arnold

ARNOLD, Herbert Thomas (1924-2008) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herb Arnold after a lengthy illness, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Friday, January 18, 2008. Beloved husband and best friend of Ruth (St. Aubin). Mom and Dad were happily married for 59 years. Father of Sam (Linda), Ric (Theresa), and Ted (Lynne). Grampa of Michael (Dana), Patti Parkes (Chris), Jeremy (Amy), Stephanie, Holly (Krista), Hailey and Vanessa. Great Grampa of Austin, Bryce, Hailee, Evan, Daniel, Cyrus and Joshua. Dad is survived by his sister Marg Tonner and his brother Bob (Lois). Herb was a proud veteran of WWII Glengarry Highlanders. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
