Obituary of Andrea Vidovic–Ivosevic

It is with extreme sadness and heartache, that the family announces the sudden and tragic passing of our Beloved Andrea on August 1st, 2021. Born October 16, 1985 in Zagreb, Croatia. Beloved wife of Goran Ivosevic. Loving Daughter of Damir and Ljubica Vidovic, Loving Sister of Anita (Brandon). She will be greatly missed by her mother-in-law Mima, and many of her family, kumovi, friends and colleagues in Canada, U.S.A., Croatia, Serbia, Germany and Denmark.  She was a graduate of McMaster University with a BSCN in Nursing and a Masters Degree in Adult Education from Yorkville University. Andrea proudly dedicated her life to helping people as a Registered Nurse and an educator. She worked at St. Josephs Hospital - Hemodialysis, Mount Sinai Hospital Emergency Department and Hamilton General Hospital Emergency Department and many others. She was a clinical educator for McMaster University and Mohawk College for many nurses starting their careers. Andrea also held various positions with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Her family meant everything to her. She loved everyone so much. Andrea Loved people and was always happy, outgoing and full of life. Her passions were reading, gardening and travelling. She touched everyone’s heart that she came into contact with her compassion. Words cannot describe the pain we are feeling and the hole that will forever be left in hearts with her passing. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 3-7 p.m with Pomen at 7 p.m. A Funeral will be held for Andrea at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd, S Hamilton on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating.  Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens.
