Obituary of Gerald Putt
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald “Digger” Putt in his 90th year on Saturday July 24, 2021. A loving husband & best friend of 67 years to Delores “Red Fox” Putt. A devoted father who was loved by Cathy Emick, Jerry (Heather) Putt, Judy (Brian) Avery, Fred (Chris) Putt, Alan (Laurie) Putt, Ken (Sue) Putt, and predeceased by his loving son Tim Putt. Papa was cherished and adored by 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Digger was a soft spoken, kind hearted man who taught everyone the importance of family. No matter where he was, he could captivate both young and old with his fond memories of the past. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Digger will always remember his devilish giggle, witty responses and beautiful, contagious smile. He had an amazing ability to make everyone he met feel special. To know him was to love him, and he will forever be in our hearts.
