Obituary of Frances Lolato Taylor

December 27, 1944 – July 17, 2021

Frances passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Saturday, July 17, 2021. Surrounded by most beloved husband Michael, her rock and her friend, her cherished twin-sister Lucy and most loved brother John and sister-in-law Loida. Frances loved her family and her home where her kitchen was the busiest room. Her faith sustained her on her journey. After retirement, she volunteered with SOS Stoney Creek for 12 years and St. Joseph’s Hospital and knitted and crocheted for “Out of the Cold” in Haldimand. Michael loved to travel and planned wonderful trips to Italy, England, and parts of the USA. Frances’ most terrifying moment in her travels was a drive over Red Mountain pass in Colorado. Thank you to the staff at Juravinski, Doctor Kumar Tyagi and Dr. Aaron Fernandes and Dr. Sabira Kanani for their care. Thanks to the great nurses in Ward 3, Juravinski especially Jen and Kelly who cared for Frances with kindness. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary at 2 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 304 Hwy. 8, Stoney Creek on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. Masks are mandatory. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
