Obituary of Sean Michael Gillen

Unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at his home in his 55th year.   Loving father of Kayleigh Gillen and Brandon Salerno (Marta).  Cherished husband of Josie (nee Giovinazzo).  Beloved son of Mary (the late Jim Gillen).  Loved brother of Ron (Wendy), Theresa (David), Kelly and Michelle.  Brother-in-law of Lorene, Godson of Sylvia Bryl.  Sean will be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family here and in Ireland. He will also be missed by his many friends from Bishop Ryan and others he met along the way.  His best furry friend Koda will miss him terribly.  He was a true Irishman with a sense of humour and a smile upon his face.  Elvis, The Maple Leafs, Dallas Cowboys, playing golf and singing were his passion.  He was a pro at throwing Superbowl parties.  He loved his new view overlooking the city, water, and the beautiful sunsets.  We will miss him dearly.
