Obituary of Anka Simic

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Anka Simic, on Saturday, May 29^th at the Hamilton General Hospital in her 68th year. Adored wife of Djuro and loved mother to Rajko (Suzana) and Djurdja (Sasa). Beloved grandmother to Bojan, Nikola, Lara and Aleksa. Anka is survived by her sister Jelka Konforta and brothers Marko, Tomislav and Ive Gugo.    Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 5-9 p.m.  A private family Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021.  Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, in accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario facial mask/coverings are required.  Please visit the funeral home website to register your attendance for services due to limited space availability.  Visitors will only be accepted by scheduled appointment and will be asked to wait in their vehicle until their allotted time. Congregating on premises is prohibited.
