Obituary of Robin Etherden
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our father, brother and friend, Robin Etherden, who passed away in the early morning of May 19, 2021 at Hamilton General Hospital in his 66th year. Robin will be lovingly remembered by his children, David, Sarah (Matt) and Daniel who will never forget their childhood summers at Green Lake where their father taught them how to fish and appreciate the beauty of nature. He leaves behind his grandchildren Jasmine, Haelli, Sophia and Rhys; loving siblings, Debbie, Rhonda (Jim) and Mike; and many friends at the Guise Street Housing Co-op where he lived for many years watching the boats go by. Robin was a skilled tradesman who proudly served at Dofasco as a bricklayer for over 25 years. His passions in life included good food, the Buffalo Bills, sharing a laugh and catching a big fish. Due to Covid restrictions, a celebration of Robin’s life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in his name.
