Our deepest sympathy to Ben's family. We were very saddened to hear the news of Ben's passing.
I had the pleasure of working with Ben for a couple of years before my retirement. A memory I would like to share is: My wife and I would go to Demetres(ice cream cafe) and when we would go to pay it was already taken care of by Ben because he was friends with the manager. That is just an example of what a nice person he was! Even though we were not in the same social circle, I will miss him but I will always have fond memories of our time together at work.

The news of Benny's passing really hit hard. I worked with Ben in the CFIA at the same manufacturing facility doing inspections. He was one of my favourite people there.
