Connie, I was sadden to hear about the loss of your Dad Norm. He was a lovely man. I remember, as a child, him playing guitar and harmonica at the same time. Our parents, George & Claire Comeau, always held him in the highest regard because he was always such a gentleman and a good dad. Please accept our condolences for your loss.

Uncle Norman was a wonderful man. I always looked up to him. He is a true Cormier - sweet, calm, loving, and caring.
I have so many fond memories as a kid. Plus lots of laughs when I lived with Uncle Norman and Aunt Fran when I went to teachers college. Knives down.
He is now home with his parents and siblings and no longer in pain. Good Bless. Until we meet again.

Dearest Fran - you and Norm were so unflinchingly kind to us over the years. Our sporadic visits to Ontario were always so warmly enhanced by the welcoming kindness and everyday good sense of you and Norm.
It is sad that when I say "most recently" I mean 2012 but when we stayed with you, you both were so kind and helpful. Getting us from the airport; me with my bike in a flight case (again, like the 80s!) and a 3 yr old Laurie in tow - and then you even let us borrow your car for a trip to Niagara Falls! I remember reassuring Norm that I was a really careful driver, and he chuckled and said, "Well, I'm sure you are; I know your Dad has a pretty heavy right foot"!
We'd had a rather arduous journey and Laurie was pretty fractious but you were both so warm and calming and I remember sleeping so well and feeling so at home with you both. Laurie's now 11, and you never met Lizzie, who's 6.
Sarah and I think of you both often and will have you very closely in our thoughts always. I attach a picture of the kids to make you smile. Thinking of you now - with all our love, Steve and Sarah, Laurie and Lizzie

Dear Fran and Family
My thoughts are with you all. Norm was such a gentle and kind soul. I'll always be grateful for the countless drives to and from New Brunswick, that you both did for my grandmother, Lillian. Fran, if there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to reach out. Take care,
Renee, Ara, and Isla Mastromatteo

Thank you so very much Renee, Ara and Isla. We loved having your grandmother with us on all those drives to N.B. She was such good company and I got to have the back seat, which made the long drive easier for me. We loved, loved, loved your grandmother, loved playing Skip-Bo with her, three handed Euchre etc. Norm and I spoke of her often. xxoxx

This morning I lost a big piece of my heart. Grandpa, I just wanted to thank you. You have always ALWAYS been there for me, loved me so unconditionally it’s amazing, and been an amazing husband to my grandma. I never once seen you mad (okay, maybe that one time I stole Brandy from your licquor cabinet), you truly showed me what unconditional love is. You went through enough pain and suffering here in the end, which was the scariest thing for me to watch. I know you’re no longer suffering, you’re free, happy and at peace. I know you’ll always be with me no matter what, your love was strong enough to last me a life time. I’ll miss you everyday until we meet again. I love you.

I will remember Uncle Norman as a gentle soul who always saw the good in people. He was genuinely interested in each member of my family and I felt his love deeply. I will miss his sense of humour, his laugh and his smile that lit up a room. He never missed a chance to attend a family gathering because family meant the world to him. He will sadly be missed but I know he is running through green pastures with my Dad and other loved ones who have gone before him. His pain and suffering are over. I love you forever, Uncle Norman. Till we meet again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

God looked around his garden and found an empty place
And then he looked down upon earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you. And lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful, because he always takes the best.
Norm was a quite gentle man who was always there with a big beautiful smile when he saw you.
I will miss you so very much my dear, dear friend.
Fran, today and always may loving memories bring you peace, comfort and strengh. My heart is with you in your time of sorrow
Love Sandy

Dear Fran and family; we offer our sympathies on the loss of Norm. He was a gentleman, a friend, and good neighbour. Whenever you met with him in the park walking, or in the lobby or in the hallway, you were always drawn by that warm smile and chuckle for a chit-chat. We shall miss him but he will never be forgotten. Mary and Steve Procyszyn

Lake Louise, same day, lunch. Had the heaters on. It was cool.
Thank you Anne and Steve for the memories, of which there were many.
The area lost all power that day, no hot food for dinner that evening but it was fun and we all enjoyed it regardless.
The next day we drove 14 hours, stopping at sites along the way to David and Dolores' home in Chilliwack for a memorable visit for her 70th birthday. Opps, did I say 70??
