Glenn and I just want to say that we only have the fondest memories of Uncle George. Glenn's since childhood of course and mine since my early teens when I first met Uncle George, Auntie Nora & the boys. Uncle George was forever so kind, helpful, funny and always a true gentleman. He was so proud of his kids and even more so of his grandkids. We will always smile when we think of him or reminisce of our times together. So many happy memories whether it be Sauble Beach, sporting events, weddings, lunches on West 4th, visits on Edith or dinner on our deck. It is so deserving he lived such a long full life and although he will be missed dearly, he is now reunited with his one true love Auntie Nora, and the rest of the family that have gone before him. I am sure he and Glenn's dad are having a ton of fun together right now. Sending our love, hugs and prayers to Gary, Joanne, Donald, Sharon, the grandkids and great grandkids.
Much Love, Glenn & Marilyn & the Girls xoxoxo

I had the pleasure of working with George many years ago at the Hamilton Conservation Authority. He was a lovely man and always demonstrated a great deal of patience while putting up with the antics of our crew of young adults. He spoke with pride about his family and I enjoyed our lunchtime conversations. I am very sorry for your loss.

Sheila and I will miss George being across the street. His sense of humour was always ready, even when we were struggling with a particularly heavy load of snow, left by the city street plow, after we had already done our duty. We will miss him.
Honoured to have had George as a Neighbour

Our family has many fond childhood memories of Uncle George. I can see him now sitting in a chair at the cottage, his hands crossed on his belly with that open mouth smile of his. All the while as Don and I drive his new car around your driveway sitting on pillows so we can see out the windshield. Then later that day, along with our Dad, they would enjoy a cheese and onion sandwich together.
I'm certain he is smiling once again as he rejoins his sweetheart, Nora.
Rest in peace Uncle George
Trish, Steve, Diane, Wayne and family
