Obituary of Kathy Louise Heene

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Kathy at the Juravinski Hospital on Friday, March 26th, after a very brief illness, at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Wilf. Loving mother of Craig Malcolm and his wife Sha, Jodi Kielb, and predeceased by son Kevin.  Cherished Nanny of Katryna, Meganrose, Darien and Stephanie. Will also be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters along with many nieces and nephews. Kathy and Wilf together enjoyed many years as members of Glendale Golf and Country Club. Along with being a long time employee of the Royal Bank, Kathy will also be missed by the many friends made along the way. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. A private Funeral Service, which will be livestreamed to the Donald V. Brown Facebook page, will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 1st at 3 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, in accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario facial mask/coverings are required.  Please visit the Funeral Home website www.donaldvbrown.ca  to register your attendance for services due to limited space availability as well as to leave condolences and notes of sympathy.  Visitors will only be accepted by scheduled appointment and will be asked to wait in their vehicle until their allotted time. If you have not registered, you will not be admitted.  Congregating on premises is prohibited. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
