It was with great sadness when I learned of John’s passing. John was a mentor for those of us who attended John’s Sunday morning Bible classes. On Friday evening, we all came together to play floor hockey in the church basement. He was a friend to everyone of us. St. Mary’s was the place where John and the Reverend Earl N. Clarke helped us to restore our souls. John will always have a special place in my heart. To the family and friends of John, I send my sincerest condolences and pray that God and the Holy Spirit will welcome him home with arms wide open. May he Rest In Peace.
