I only had the pleasure of meeting Margaret once since coming to Stoney Creek. I found her to be a true lady in the old fashioned sense of that word, and I wish I had the chance to get to know her better. I do know that she was dearly loved by many in this church, and she will be missed by them. Her generosity in naming the church as a benefactor of her memorials was very much appreciated.

I presume this is the "Miss Grainger" that my friends and I, who attended Memorial Public School on Main Street East at Ottawa Street in the 50's, are now remembering fondly.
I'm very sorry that this lovely lady has passed away! She'll be remembered as a gentle and thoughtful woman.
