Sending our love, thoughts and prayers to all of you, as we lovingly remember Lois. She was a very talented and strong woman of great faith, with so much love and support to give to others. Our family has been so blessed to have had many wonderful memories of Lois over the years. Her smile, hugs, strength and support were never-ending. Sharing a little smile.....when our boys were young and in Sunday School, Lois and Lorne lovingly labelled them their "Candy Kids," as they would sneak candy to them, with that little wink and a twinkle in her eye!
May you all be blessed with loving thoughts and memories of a respected, kind and lovely woman.
Forever in hearts and remembered with "Baskets of Love,"
Val and Mike Haslam and Family

Lois, like Lorne, left an amazing permanent imprint on our family's hearts and memories. Lois had so much love for her own family yet she still had more to give. Lois and Lorne were Kendra and Deandra's church grandparents although I am sure there were many more young people that they also impacted.. Lois, like her award winning quilts bound so many us together in the Binbrook community. She shared her passion for music in the Binbrook Church choir and and supported it in others. She loved to hear the youth perform at a contemporary church service whether it be vocal or piano or drums.
I know that John will miss her Christmas home made fruit cake and shortbread delivered by Lorne to our door during the holiday season. but most of all her hugs.
Lois, I will miss your strength, your courage when your health was changing , your generosity to our family and your community, your example of faith and your incredible warm smile. We will carry you in our hearts. We treasure our memories.
Our love and prayers to the family

Lois was such a special person! She had such a passion for singing and would bring the music to life. Singing in the alto section was always better with Lois. When I was little (so up until like 2 years ago haha) I would stop in the craft building and see how many of her quilts I could find at the Binbrook fair that year. Lois and Lorne were both such a positive force in my life, and my community. I am so sad they have both moved on now, but it brings me peace to know they are together again. I am blessed to have had them in my life, and will always cherish our memories.

Dave, Myra and family; I remember many church services and fair activities and running into Lois at the cemetery in Blackheath when we were both putting flowers on the family plots. However what I looked forward to each year was when they came to donate to the Food Bank it is a cherished memory. Memory is a powerful tool use it now to remember the last time You were hugged by Lois and know the warmth you are feeling is love. Thinking of You Scott and Vivian Kinnear
